Sustainability challenges for your company

Every company today has sustainability goals to achieve and communicate: energy efficiency, circular economy, emissions reduction, ESG and CSRD reporting. Simbial turns these goals into open challenges for its green talent community — an open innovation model that produces concrete solutions and measurable impact.

Launch a challenge in just a few days

Describe the problem — a process to streamline, a material to rethink, a supply chain to trace — and Simbial's AI helps you structure the challenge: objectives, expected indicators, and a measurement plan, all defined before the start. Talent teams work in a guided workspace across 4 phases, from ideation to results measurement.

Certifiable impact, not promises

Every result is recorded with physical indicators — kWh saved, CO₂ avoided, materials recovered — and evaluated using the Net Positive Impact Score: a transparent methodology with public, versioned coefficients and four levels of verification up to documentary certification. Numbers your sustainability team can use in the sustainability report.

Get to know talent by watching them work

Forget interviews: in challenges, you see the best green profiles in action on a real problem of yours — how they think, how they collaborate, what they deliver. It's the most reliable way to identify the people to bring into your projects, with proof instead of CVs.

Simple to launch, rigorous in numbers

No methodologist needed: challenge definition is guided by AI and validated by people; measurement follows the plan agreed upon ex-ante. You bring the problem and receive solutions, talent, and documented impact.

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of challenges can be launched?

Challenges with measurable results in environmental, social, or economic areas: energy efficiency, waste and loss reduction, eco-design of products, sustainable logistics, awareness and training, data analysis and ESG reporting. The Simbial team helps you define their scope.

How is impact measured?

Using the Net Positive Impact Score: the declared physical indicators (with calculation method and evidence) are converted into points through public, versioned coefficients; the formula is Handprint minus Footprint. Four levels of verification, from estimated data to certified data with documentation.

Can the results be used in sustainability reporting?

Yes: indicators are expressed in native physical units (kWh, kg CO₂e, tonnes of material) with tracked methods and evidence, designed to be integrated into sustainability reports and voluntary disclosures. For regulatory obligations, validation by your auditors remains necessary.

How much does it cost to launch a challenge?

The model includes a reward for talent defined by the company, and launch terms that depend on the size and duration of the challenge. Contact us through the platform: we'll define the scope together and propose a tailored arrangement.
