The baseline
Every impact measurement is a comparison: how much we consumed before, how much after. The first thing to do is take a snapshot of today — utility bills, waste, transport — with sources in hand. Without a baseline, every improvement is just a story.
Native units
On Simbial, measurement is done in real units: kWh, kg, m³, people. The conversion into points is handled by the platform's public coefficients — never by you. This way the data remains verifiable by anyone, forever.
The principle
Better three indicators with solid sources than ten enthusiastic estimates: confidence is worth more than quantity. That is why the Impact Score gains in value when an Impact Controller signs it.
